Senior Client Specialist - Finance and Accounting

Job Description

The Senior Client Specialist - F&A is responsible for performing accounting-related duties, preparing financial statements, and supporting tax and payroll processing while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting-related duties and work closely with the finance director, controller, assistant controller, and accounting team to achieve organizational goals.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and prepare journals.

  • Review daily journals and reports.

  • Reconcile sub-ledgers.

  • Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable, aging

  • Follow-up with internal and external stakeholders to clear aged items

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements.

  • Assist and support US tax calculation.

  • Assist and support biweekly, multi-state payroll processing, including balancing and reconciling all payroll figures

  • Assist and support off-cycle processing and credit payment card activities

  • Maintain all contracts, leases, and other legal and financial records

  • Analyze and reconcile chargebacks.

  • Be a team player.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts

  • Ability to carry out tasks independently and accurately

  • Ability to manage time and energy efficiently, effectively, and organized manner

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.

  • MBA Finance/M.com/ CA inter.

Experience

  • Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience in General Accounting

  • Experience in a multinational organization or shared services environment will be an advantage.
