Senior Group Leader- Finance and Accounting

Job Description

Perform day-to-day accounting-related duties and support the operation team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality analytical reports and impactful results on assigned projects

  • Possess end-to-end accounting knowledge and a complete understanding of client requirements

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, and the ability to present information at various levels

  • Accomplish projects on time-saving, cost-saving, quality improvement, and foolproof mechanisms

  • Create and maintain process documentation, and update it on a timely basis

  • Manage operations through end-to-end planning, metrics review, and root cause analysis

  • Assist with hiring processes and new team member training.

  • Manage attrition targets.

  • Review overall staff performance and make recommendations.

  • Be flexible to work night shifts.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts

  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and planning skills

  • Ability to manage time and energy efficiently, effectively, and organized manner.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality requirements.

Experience

  • Minimum 10-13 years of experience in F&A Operations with a team size of 20 to 25 members

  • Experience in a multinational organization or shared services environment will be an advantage.

  • Good communication skills and ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously and cope with a changing working environment

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

  • MBA Finance/M.com/CA inter.
